We are looking for a before- and after-school nanny for the upcoming school year, September 2019 - June 2020, and subsequently during the summer, a part-time nanny with flexible hours. During the school year, working hours are: Monday through Friday 7:30 - 9:30 am and 2:30 - 6:00 pm each day. Guaranteed minimum hours/week 25 - 30. We have two daughters, a 9 year-old and a 13 year-old. Nanny will be responsible mainly for taking care of the younger, elementary school-age girl. Responsibilities in the morning include preparing a simple breakfast for the girls, packing their lunches, and taking the 9 year-old to school (we provide a family vehicle for use). In the afternoon, Nanny will pick the younger girl up from elementary school and take her to activities, supervise homework, organize play dates, and prepare a simple, healthy supper for the family. Driving is mandatory and a clean driving record is highly preferred. We have a family minivan for you to use to transport the kids and for your personal use during the day. Minimal housekeeping is required; however, Nanny is responsible for loading/unloading the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy and time permitting, doing family laundry (no ironing).
