Hi! I am searching for part time child care for my almost 3 year old daughter! We require care from 11:30 am to 4:00-4:3030 pm Monday to Friday while I am teaching. Position entails looking after my wonderful daughter, playing with her, cleaning up after/with her, ensuring she has lunch and snacks, and some light house keeping duties (cleaning up after daughter, loading/unloading dishwasher, hand washables, simple meal prep for dinner etc). I am looking to hire someone with some experience and hopefully first aid knowledge. My daughter loves building things out of blocks, pretend play, playing outside, and arts and crafts. I am more than happy to provide materials for specific art projects etc. as needed/requested. We are currently living in Waterloo, but moving the first week of September to Kitchener near the Lancaster SmokeHouse. My husband works from home and will be in the home while you are. However, you will likely rarely see him if ever and he will NOT interfere with you and my daughter in any way. School holidays will likely be fewer hours (For example, Christmas break I will mostly be home, but have to go into school a few days) and PD days I will need care most of the time. Our daughter rarely naps now, and has limited screen time so there will be no TV/computer for her while you are with her. We would potentially be looking for some mornings and evenings or weekends as well and would give first offer of any babysitting jobs to you. Pay is up to $15/hr on a bi weekly basis via email transfer. We will not be paying sick days, or vacation days, and will not be taking money off for taxes.
