Part-Time/ Full-Time Permanent | Evenings & Weekends | Travel Required Grantservicesinn is seeking Personal Support Workers (PSW) to support clients with the tasks involved in daily living. This position follows a homecare/mobile model, where the PSW travels to and from clients’ homes, daily errands, schools or workplaces in the city of Toronto, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga areas. Services are provided within the clients’ location and may include personal care (bathing, bowel/bladder assistance), dressing and undressing, meal preparations, or light housekeeping, respite, etc. You can expect to work independently, manage multiple client bookings and travel throughout the city to meet the clients’ scheduled needs. Flexibility is key in this role, as is a positive attitude and willingness to support clients’ lifestyles and to accept direction from clients. Qualifications: Personal Support Worker Certificate Ability to work independently and under the direction of the client Experience working with persons with disabilities and in a position of trust Excellent communication skills Physical ability to lift and transfer clients Access to a vehicle is an asset If successful, incumbent must complete a medical form and have a valid Police Reference Check (Vulnerable Persons)
