Description: Seeking female PSW/nursing students in Mississauga L5M area to provide care for a client diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Full training will be provided. Training wage is $14/hr and regular wage is $18/hr. This job is affiliated with the Direct Funding program. Shift: Monday to Friday 4:00pm-9pm Duties: Personal care G-tube feed/care Transferring by ceiling lift Swabbing and suctioning as needed Toileting Repositioning Bi-pap mask placement and monitoring Qualifications: For PSW: PSW certificate For nursing students: current nursing students, 2nd or 3rd year Recent police check Strong communication skills in English Must have reliable transportation, driving is preferred due to location Living in Mississauga is preferred
