We have two boys (3.5 and almost 2 years old). The 3.5 year old will likely have preschool for some of the day, and so you will mainly be spending time with my 22 month old. Both boys are extremely loving. My 3.5 year old can sit for hours having books read to him or doing puzzles, while my younger son is busy and loves to move. As the weather gets better, much of the day will be spent getting out of the house and experiencing different things (parks, libraries, bike rides...etc), however, there is also plenty to play with at home during those extremely wet days. During your day, you will likely arrive and - have some time to play with the boys while I get them ready for their morning. - You'll plan some kind of outing (likely just with my younger son) and return for a snack and then put him down for a nap. - By then, I'll return with my older son from preschool and you can spend some time with him I do not require any meal preps or house hold cleaning but to tidy up the areas you had played in. We also have a dog (non-shedding golden doodle) and may occasionally ask you to take him for a walk with the boys. This job could work for you if you are in school and have a few mornings/days free, or if you work PT as a nanny for another family. You must have previous child care experience with young children as a 2 year old will need someone patient, kind and experienced with their trickery. Drivers license is an asset. We have a non-shedding, hypoallergenic dog. May ask you to take him with you on stroller walks on occasion.
