Hello, my name is Kathryn, and I am looking for a part-time live-out nanny in north Nanaimo. The position would be to care for my 1.5 and 6-year-old children. They have no special needs or dietary restrictions. A typical day would include meal and snack preparation, active time in and outside, helping the older child with some schoolwork (as needed), nap/quiet time mid-day, school drop-off/pick-up, and walks. My kids respond best to someone who is patient and loving, ideally with experience balancing needs of multiple children to include them both in activities. I would like help 4 days per week, for a total of about 24-30 hours, e.g. 8-3 Mon-Thurs. I am somewhat flexible for the right fit! My family is committed to taking precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic and while physical distancing is impossible during care for young children, we would work with you to minimize risks to each other. Experience with toddlers and current first aid training are a must. A driver’s license and ability to do school pick-up would be preferable.
