Elderly Lady who needs companionship and assistance. Mom lives on her own and recently started using a walker after her balance became an issue with new medication. We are in the early stages of learning what the best solution will be for mom long term and will be working with her Doctor and AHS in the upcoming weeks / months. If we can find an affordable solution to keep her in her home, this is our preference, so this could become a long term position for the right person. As a family, we all are working full time , therefore are searching for a good solution with a caregiver to cover most of the hours every day but we can provide some relief on some evenings and weekends. We need someone who is experienced in care giving and would prefer some one with a nursing back ground. You would be responsible to administer prescriptions on a schedule, prepare meals , assistance with bathing and personal hygiene. Some light house cleaning as well. We are new to this, so are willing to learn about what you can offer and negotiate the arrangements. It is important to mom that the care giver is female, speaks clear English and is friendly.
