I am looking for a PSW to take care of my elderly mother Initially would like a Live-out, with the possibility of live-in in future if my mother is comfortable with her Looking for a female PSW Being able to speak Cantonese is an asset Having a driver's licence and car is also an asset having some knowledge of first aid/CPR is also an asset If interviewed, please bring police background check and CV to appointment JOB POSTING WILL ONLY BE UP FOR A WEEK Job duties include: 1. daily walking for 30 min 2. able to arrive at 8 am sharp to accompany her to Yee Hong Mississauga 4-5 days a week to visit her husband. She does take Wheeltrans here. But if PSW is willing her to drive her back and forth (14 km each way), that would be more helpful 3. getting her lunch on the days she is at Yee Hong 4. driving her to grocery store 5. meal prep and cooking, cleaning out fridge, throwing garbage down the chute (live in condo), taking recyclables downstairs 6. light house duties i.e. throwing clothes into washer and making her bed 7. help with bathing if required, helping her with dressing 8. being a friend and companion 9. helping with her quilting 10. taking her to doctor's appointments
