About Us: We are a young professional couple with 2-year-old twins (a boy and a girl) in the Maple Ridge area of Pickering. We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a couple of years until the kids start school. We would greatly value someone with 5+ years of experience as a nanny or similar child care experience. Candidates must have great energy to engage and entertain our children through their toddler years in a way that will help them reach milestones while having a lot of fun along the way. Nanny Qualities and Skills Required: • A pleasant and patient personality • 5 years of experience • Non-smoker • English is first language • Must have a valid driver’s license, (having your own vehicle is considered an asset) Clean driving record and no criminal background • CPR and first-aid certification are a plus Responsibilities: • Following strict nap schedule • Making kids 2 meals a day plus snacks • Ensure children’s safety during indoor and outdoor activities • Light housekeeping (mostly just keeping the house tidy and organized) • Planning activities and outings • Chronicling day for parents • Occasional errands with kids (picking up food at grocery store etc.)
