My father uses a walker to assist him. He needs assistance and monitoring when it comes to stairs, stepping off curbs…etc. To ensure he doesn't fall or hurt himself. A little about my parents: My parents are kind, friendly people who wish to remain as independent as is possible in their 80's. Our family is very close and play incredibly active roles in my parents lives. We all talk often and spend time together. It is important that you are our eyes and ears when we are not around. If you notice either my mom or dad down playing health issues or new symptoms that needs to be shared via email or a telephone call to me. Any appointments you attend with them please take an active roll listening to what the health professional is saying, take notes so all information can be shared correctly to me and also so my parents have a back up in they forget what was said.
