Job Overview: Hey, my name is Sabrina. I am looking for a nanny for South Surrey, British Columbia. I'm hoping to find a caring, reliable person for a flexible, full-time position. Service Requirements: *No busses or transit come by our house. *We require a criminal record check. My husband and I are in need of a nanny for our will-be 1 year old come April 2020 when I go back to work full-time. We are both shift workers, working a 4-days-on-4-days-off schedule - meaning that would be your general schedule, too. This also means that we would need some nighttime care as well as day time care when we are either working or need to sleep before work (spare room with bed provided for the night coverage as needed). This posting is for live-out care but you can do live-in for the 4 work days if it makes sense for our shifts that week (not required - just an option). *4-on-4-off is a pretty sweet schedule if it's something you haven't experienced before. That also means that when either of us takes 4 days off for vacation time, it actually adds up to 12 days off from work in a row for us, and 12 days off from nannying for you. Plus, you'd be paid for night care while our baby sleeps, meaning you can sleep too. Imagine that - being paid to sleep! *It will be too hard to nickel-and-dime every hour of your services due to our shifting patterns so we would pay a flat 40 hours per week. Some weeks you will work more than 40 hours, some quite less. Paying you a flat rate allows payment to even itself out over the longer term when it comes to varying hours.
