Need a part-time weekend position. (14 hours per weekend) Need someone who is reliable, has a valid driver's license and can drive, has experience in care-giving and valid current references. Also would require a background check to be proved. Mom is late deaf and can read lips if you talk slow and directly to her, otherwise writing things down is a must. This requires a great deal of patience. Mom is an avid nature lover, bird watcher and is creative, interested in lots of things especially history and travel, she is unable to get out on her own. Her energy is up and down. She does deal with pain and depression. She was also a great cook, although she no longer does this.
