Vancouver family with 3 children (twin 4 year old boys and a 4 year old girl) needs 2 caregivers to create a fun learning environment. Your job is to work as a team to manage a combination of structured learning time and unstructured playtime. These kids are quick learners and would benefit significantly from exposure to: · the three R’s (sight words, basic addition and subtraction, tracing and printing) · a second language · music, singing and dancing · all sports and outdoor activities · colouring, matching, art work · field trips Requirements · excellent morals and values · must be legally eligible to work in Canada · minimum 2 years childcare experience · CPR and First Aid Certificate · limited reliance upon electronic devices (the kids do not have devices and rarely watch TV) · willingness to travel preferred within British Columbia preferred Specifics: · Hours: weekdays 10:30 to 1:00 and continuing 1:30 to 5:30 · Pay: All in pay up to $25 per hour structured as 1) Base: up to $20 per hour combined base pay and vacation pay depending on skills and experience, and 2) Performance: up to $5 per hour performance / completion bonus depending on work ethic, valuesdemonstrated and results · Start date: preferred January 27, 2020 Please note: We are looking for 2 caregivers that are fully engaged with the children and not constantly checking their electronic devices. You must have direct experience managing multiple and highly competitive and active 4 year olds, and lastly, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
