Hello All, Our family is new to the Ottawa area and we are looking for some help with child care for our 2 youngest children (Ages 2 and 4). We have four children aged 8, 6, 4, & 2 (three boys and a girl respectively). Our older two children go to elementary school but our two youngest are at home and we are looking for an individual to help us out a couple mornings a week with the two youngest kids at the house. We're looking for someone with childhood learning experience and some formal ECE training to provide a bit of a change for the kids, some new activities, different learning opportunities, etc. Our previous daycare in Montreal was wonderful and everyday would have activities for the kids in English and French working on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, learning letters, numbers, doing art, reading books, etc. We would love to provide some of this to our kids here. We were thinking of having someone come perhaps two or three mornings a week for a period of about 3 to 4 hours to spend some time with the kids doing these types of activities. We would also like to provide the kids with some additional French exposure but this is not a requirement. We are open to new/other ideas as well! My husband and myself work from home most days so there will always be one of us available if needed in and emergency. Thanks for your interest, Jeff & Leanne
