Job Overview: I hope you are having a good day. I am looking to hire a part time nanny working in Calgary, Alberta. My goal is to hire a professional person with live-out availability. We have 2 children, a 6 year old boy and an almost 3 year old girl. Both of our children are active, busy kids that require lots of opportunities to get out and explore. Our 6 year old is in full time school at the neighborhood school but he does come home for lunches. His school also has half day Fridays and usually a couple PD days a month. He is a very physical and active boy but at the same time he is extremely relational and needs someone who will connect with him and spend the time to get to know who he is and listen to what he has to say. Our 3 year old will be starting part time preschool 2 mornings a week in September. She is currently in a number of different sports classes in the mornings. She is very chatty and opinionated and loves nothing more then to spend time playing with you or helping you with what ever is on the agenda that day. I am moving from full time to part time work. We are looking for someone who can be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday. At times I have to work into the evenings on those days so we require someone who is able to work a longer shift as required. Duties: Our home requires facilitating educational activities, reading books, and children's crafting. We require someone that has a valid drivers licence, clean driving abstract and their own vehicle . The ideal service provider would have over two years of experience although this isn't crucial to be hired. You would be responsible working with me on the basic upkeep of the house as well as planning and prepping healthy meals and snacks for the kids. The children's laundry is also something that you may be asked to help with.
