Hello there! We are an active family of three: myself (Mom) and two children, aged seven and nine, looking for someone to hold down the fort while I am away working days or nights. I am looking for someone that shares our values and lifestyle: healthy eating (with treats in moderation), extracurricular activities, play, being outdoors, honesty and respect. I work shift work (4x4 - two days and two nights) plus share custody with their Father and therefore the days required will not be regular set days (I am able to provide a long-term schedule). It is expected that you will have your own means of reliable transportation. A few duties would include, but not limited to: 1. Helping out with homework 2. Light meal prep (I will try to have big meals pre-made) 3. Driving them to and from school/activities 4. Getting them ready for school/bed 5. Providing a safe and trusting environment for them to be in. This is an ideal position for someone who isn't wanting full-time work; generally 6-8 shifts per month (come September). I will be happy to discuss those compensation with those who are genuinely interested in this position. Shift examples: June 18 (DS) 4:45AM to 6:45PM June 26 (DS) 4:45AM to 8:30PM July 28 (DS) 4:45AM to 8:30PM July 29 (DS) 4:45AM to 8:30PM July 30 (NS) 4:45PM to 8:30AM ...etc... Most shifts will run something like this: Days 4:45AM to 8:30PM Nights 4:45PM to 8:30AM If interested in working with us, I will provide details of how the scheduling works (there is a method to the madness)! Flexibility with start date after interviews, reference checks and of course meeting our family. - Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check for working with youth. - Evidence of having completed a First Aid course or other equivalent.
