Employer: Private Household Position title: Child Caregiver Salary: $15.00/hour Hours: 44 hours per week Anticipated start date: ASAP Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Location of work: Oakville, Ontario Benefits: Medical insurance for 3 months until eligible for OHIP coverage (if applicable) Contact information: ***@*** Duties: • Bathe, dress and feed the children; • Tale children to and from school and appointments; • Homework supervision; • Supervise and care for two children in employers residence; • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children; • Maintain safe and healthy environment in the home; • Attend to emotional well-being of children; • Organize and participate in activities and outings to provide amusement and exercise; • Perform light housekeeping duties; • Occasionally travel with family; and • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed. Requirements: • Minimum 1-2 years of experience taking care of children; • Completion of High School is required; • Experience working with children under 7 years of age is an asset; • Client focus, flexible and effective interpersonal skills; • Reliable and has excellent communication skills; • Must speak English; Optional: accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
