Hi, my 80 year-old father is looking for someone to keep him company in the afternoons on weekdays from 1:30pm to 5pm. Also, we are interested in having someone come by on weekday evenings for about one month from 5pm to 9pm while his evening caregiver is on vacation in Ottawa. The pay rate would be $25/hour in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver. My father loves doing three things with his caregivers: playing cards (in the kitchen), talking about a wide range of life topics, and watching Netflix movies (in his bedroom). It is quite important that his caregivers enjoy these three things, too. He is pretty easy-going, but he does not like it when caregivers use their phones a lot for texting. : ) In general, he seems to prefer caregivers who are patient, kind, talkative and cheerful. He has not been eating enough recently, so caregivers with cooking skills would be greatly appreciated (but not required). Thank you very much for reading all of this. : D
