We are looking for full time childcare for our 6 and 8 year old children. We can offer 30-45 hours a week and potentially more if you are interested. The care would involve picking up our kids from school and tutoring with homework, making and feeding kids dinner, taking kids to after school activities. The hours would be approximately 10am-6pm M-F. The position would start summer 2022 for orientation and training - we are flexible on start date. We are looking for at least a one year commitment. We would ideally hope for somebody that would be available occasional evenings and weekends as well, but this is not a requirement.
If you prefer to start earlier, we can offer part-time hours as early as May 2022 and then transition to full time hours in Aug. 2022.
We would prefer a care-taker with experience in caring for kids with autism spectrum disorder as our eldest has Asperger's, and ideally some experience with behavioral management. As our son will only be in school part-time, so teaching and school work will be a part of the role, so it would be a bonus if the candidate has teaching experience or a strong interest in teaching. Also, with COVID there is a chance of schools being closed and homeschooling would be a large part of the role
The second part of the position would be managing our household, which would involve light housekeeping, keeping a grocery list, grocery shopping, running errands, keeping the house organized, meal prep.
We are looking for somebody detail-oriented, organized, and hard working. Wage is negotiable and will depend on experience and degree of support provided to our family.
Our nanny must have a valid driver's license and their own vehicle.
Valid criminal record check and CPR required.
This could be a great position for somebody taking a year off of school and looking to gain experience in teaching! We could potentially offer some hours sooner if candidate interested.
