We are a busy, active and nature loving family. Our children are currently 7 and at school full-time, 5 and attending preschool 3 half days a week, and 18 months and looking forward to hanging out with you all day! Our primary goal is to find an engaged, playful caregiver who is passionate about spending time creating a fun and educational environment for our children. We are looking for you to plan and carry out daily activities for and with the children with educational and social emotional value, incorporating regular outdoor activities. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys playing and spending time with children! We live in the Gordon Head, near many parks, beaches, and a fully equipped rec center. We have created a home environment with a safe fenced outdoor play space as well as a dedicated playroom indoors. Duties: Primary task is to create a safe, loving, engaging and fun environment for the children to learn, grow and thrive in, including frequent outdoor and nature-based activities Planning and supervising activities, including occasional play dates Pick up and drop off from school, planned activities and lessons Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children throughout the day Light household duties: working with the children to complete their assigned chores and cleaning up after meals and home-based activities, children's laundry Adherence to nap schedule and house rules Details: Full time contract (40 hours/week), end date August 31, 2021 Preferred Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm Negotiable Salary Paid vacation Paid sick days Vehicle provided if required/preferred Live out Requirements: First Aid, CPR; Valid DL; ECE or equivalent preferred; Min 2 years experience
