Looking for a dynamic nanny caregiver to look after two boys — 6 and 4 -- on the days they are with me (their dad), which is typically 40-50 per cent of the time. The position entails approximately 30 hours/week on average but, depending on the schedule, some weeks could be 40+ hours and other weeks could be zero. My intention is to pay the same salary every two weeks while tracking the hours actually worked so that lighter weeks (0-20 hours) would offset busier weeks (40 hours+). This requires significant flexibility in terms of scheduling and the ability to work on both weekdays and weekends as needed. Occasional overnights are possible, as are short 2-3 day trips to a cottage. For overnights, you would be paid for your regular hours plus a $50 flat fee while sleeping. Responsibilities are quite typical — supervision of and leading indoor and outdoor activities with the children, some cooking (can be from a cookbook), some laundry, and some light cleaning.
