Hello!
We're a family of 4, recently arrived at Vancouver, and we have just moved to West Point Grey, close to UBC. We're looking for a House Manager to oversee the smooth running of the house and its day-to-day operations. Your main tasks would be:
- Home cleaning duties (cleaning, laundry, keeping the house tidy, etc)
- Manage the house budget
- Do all of the shopping for food and supplies
- Be responsible for the household inventory. Also ensuring that supplies are always replenished
- Run errands such as mail, buying flowers for the house, and other shopping
- Organize and liaise with outside contractors and deliveries
- Minor child-care responsibilities such as making snacks and babysitting from time to time
We're an easy-going and kind family who would treat you with respect and appreciate your work. We are looking for a full-time staff but we would begin with a trial part-time period of one month.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their job, someone with attention to detail, organization skills, and lots of energy. In-person interviews will be conducted during the third week of July.
