My mother is house-bound - she has mobility issues and she also has arthritis in her hands. My mother is 93, living alone in her house she needs daily help with personal care, meals, and dressing. My mother also suffers, from time to time, with some confusion and some forgetfulness. Our family is looking for a live-in (24 HRS) personal caregiver for my mother. A caregiver who can keep that delicate balance of helping and supporting while allowing our mother to keep some independence and all of her dignity. This special caregiver will work around 50 hours per week Monday - Friday. The position is in St. Bruno, Quebec (on the south shore and only 40 minutes to Montreal) Must have related experience for seniors, able to prepare nutritious, appetizing meals and able to live-in full-time (7 nights). Please DO NOT apply if you do not wish to live-in 7 nights. Priority given to those who can live-in the entire week (7 nights but work only 5 days-your off days will be Saturday and Sunday) and who speak 2 languages (1 being English) and who can commit to 1 year min.
