We are looking for a permanent, part-time female caregiver to assist an elderly Individual with mobility and mild dementia on weekends and civic holidays. Location: North Edmonton (Delwood) in the individual's home Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays, and all Stat Holidays: 9:00am – 6:00pm. Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to mobility assistance, medication administration, personal care including bathing and dressing, documentation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, supervision, card and cognitive game playing and companionship. Please note: 1 small dog in the home Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent vulnerable sector check, health care aide certificate or a minimum of 6 month’s experience working with elderly clients with dementia. New HCA grads welcome to apply! First aid & CPR is considered an asset. Rate of Pay: $17/hour – Shift differential on stat holidays Start Date: As soon as possible
