Hello, We are looking for care for our little one starting in Sept. We have two boys (10 and 4). Our youngest is on the spectrum and learning to speak. He has been diagnosed young and has come a long way in his development. Our older son has ADHD and is a very bright and creative little man. We have specialized services with Children’s Autism Services (CASE) and our ideal candidate would be supported with our MDT team including SLP, OT, BT, etc. as well as an education consultant. Our little one goes to preschool in the fall for 3 afternoons per week and we will have an EA come work with him one afternoon per week in home. The successful candidate will work with our little one directly mon (all day) and tues-fri morning by supporting him with strategies and working on our ISPP goals. The nanny would be responsible for taking him to preschool and bringing him home afterwards. Our oldest is going into grade 5 and is quite independent. Depending on the school schedule the nanny may be responsible for picking him up from school and working through homework/chores (if needed). While our little one is at school, we can discuss what the responsibilities of the nanny are. Given all the uncertainties around school and covid, compensation is negotiable. We are looking for someone who is passionate, caring and reliable. Experience with asd is considered an asset.
