We are looking for a cheerful, attentive companion and caregiver for an active 75 year young man who loves to laugh and joke around. Dad enjoys getting out for walks, helping around the house and dancing to music. His cognitive impairments (dementia) means he needs help with daily life tasks but he is mobile, curious, interested in conversation and learning. He is non-verbal but expressive and appreciates when people make the effort to learn his 'language'. He needs help with hygiene (showering, toileting, shaving & brushing teeth), getting dressed and doing tasks around the house. No lifting required. He is mobile and has good balance. In addition, some light housekeeping and meal prep would be included. Given Covid-19, we are looking for someone who is vaccinated, preferably has no other clients and limits their outside interactions. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants to work 15-25 hrs/week. We can be flexible on the start date. Salary is negotiable starting at $23/hr.
