I am looking for a nanny available to work in our home in Mississauga, Ontario. I hope to connect with a passionate, exceptional person with availability Monday to Friday for 35 hours per week to look after our children, 8, 3, and newborn. Services And Training: Supervise and care for children; Bathe, dress and feed children; Change diapers for newborn (occasionally); Serve meals for children and perform other housekeeping duties; Oversee children's activities; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Instruct children in personal hygiene; Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development; Discipline children using gentle measures; Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings; Take children to and from school and extra-curricular activities; May be required to keep informal notes on daily activities and health information regarding each child. The minimum education requirement is a high-school certificate and CPR training. The candidate must be able to communicate well in English. There will be some housekeeping daily, as well as kitchen chores. Being able to cook one or two nutritious vegan dinners each week would be an asset, but not a requirement. It is an asset if you have a driver's license. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel with us occasionally (post-pandemic). The ideal candidate would be able to instill a love of learning in our children and be able to encourage creativity and confidence. Educational achievements above a high-school diploma would be considered an asset, particularly ECE certification or Montessori teacher training. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Under the current pandemic circumstances, we are looking for someone who is willing to remain physically distant from their personal network temporarily, as the newborn is high-risk. You will be required to show a negative COVID test immediately prior to starting employment and wear a mask while working.
