Hi! I'm a mom of 2 boys, and we are looking for a very special nanny to help out with our unique and friendly family on a part time basis. My boys are 5 and 3 years old. Our 3 year old has a lot of medical challenges, mobility challenges and is non-verbal. He loves to play games, do actions to songs and especially read books. My five year old is very independent, but loves to tell stories. I am looking for someone who is willing to take on the challenge of learning our younger son's medical care, and also loves to play with children. Your primary job will be to play with, and care for, our younger son, with some supervision of his older brother or doing some light household chores as time permits.On the medical side, I will teach you how to to manage his trach and g-tube. I am hoping to find someone with experience in caregiving - whether that is nursing experience, working with other medically complex kids or something else. I am willing to work with you to teach you what you need to know to care for my son, but previous related experience gives me confidence that you are up for the challenge. We are offering $22 per hour, for 15-20 hours per week. If you are a Registered Nurse in Ontario, we are able to offer more hours and higher pay.
