Hi there, I am looking for a live-out nanny/caregiver for my 3 children (11F, 5F, 3M). They are being homeschooled this year with a teacher coming into the home. I am looking for someone to help support the teacher during school hours so she has devoted time with each child while teaching, care for the children before/after she leaves until one of the parents comes home from work. School days will be approximately 5 hours long, 3 days per week with the teacher and 1 day with me, one day for focusing on areas of struggle, building skills, fun activities related to the prior week's topics. Safety and education (so many activities can be turned into a learning/teaching opp) are my top priorities for a childcare provider. Light housekeeping duties, laundry and dinner prep/starting would be a huge asset. My husband, brother in law and I own and operate a construction company and find ourselves out of time most days to just keep up with daily housekeeping tasks. We have no pets but many fish tanks, maintenance or feedings not in scope. We are secular. We prefer religious, political and social beliefs to stay out of discussion with the children unless directly correlated with education, in which case we expect a non-biased and factually correct approach to "sensitive" topics that encompasses more than one school of thought. Bungalow in the city of Kingston, 1/4 acre lot with trampoline, club house, swing set, zip line, climbing net and a tiny wading pool. There is a greenhouse for gardening that can be used if wanted, parks nearby.
