We are a family of four - two professionals who have two loving children - a 12 year old boy and a 15 year old girl. We also have two small (very loving and gentle) dogs. We are looking for somebody to: 1) cook meals, 2) drive the kids to appointments and activities on as needed basis, 3) help take care of our two dogs, 4) and keep the house tidy and clean. We work long hours, and generally need someone to help with food prep and getting our son going in the morning (starting at 7:00 am), do laundry and clean the house during the day, prepare/cook dinner, drive the kids to their extra curricular activities (when applicable!), clean up after meals. But most importantly are the intangibles - if you are right for our family, you will have an open heart that will allow you to get close to our kids and to help us to nurture them as they grow. You will have patience and be good with teenagers. You will put their safety and physical well being first, but also be highly attuned and responsive to their emotional needs. You love animals. You have a car and are able and willing to drive the kids. You can cook and are willing to learn new recipes. You are highly responsible, detail oriented and organized. You take initiative and can manage a home and problem solve independently.
