I am looking for someone to care for two 3 yr old (mine and a neighbor's) and my 7 yr old. I have pulled my daughter out of daycare due to COVID, and so I am looking for someone with a strong background in early childhood education. I'd like her day to include a mix of storytime, music, crafts, play-based learning (covering Preschool developmental skills and/or the jk curriculum), and outdoor play.
My son is attending school but will be joining after school from 3:30 or 4-5 pm. In the event that school is closed for whatever reason, he would also join on a full-time basis. He is in grade 2 and would be participating in virtual learning if the school were to shut, so you should be comfortable supporting and overseeing that (ensuring he's online for his sessions, print materials in advance, submit completed assignments on his behalf). You should also be comfortable supporting his learning by working to improve his reading and mathematics skills.
My son has mild cerebral palsy and has fine motor difficulty. Part of the learning support may also be supporting him learning to - and practice - keyboarding, as handwriting is difficult for him. You may also be asked to help him practice other fine motor activities.
