My husband and I have 3 children, a daughter (almost 5), a son (almost 3), and a daughter (almost 1). I am looking for someone to assist me in looking after them and doing light housework. Looking for 2-3 weekdays a week or each weekday morning, approximately 20-25 hours per week. I am willing to be flexible on schedule for the right candidate. Potential for additional weekend evening hours but not required. Duties would include - Looking after up to all three children, including taking to playgrounds, beach, walks, etc. - Accompanying child to activities/classes in the neighborhood - Light housekeeping duties when not looking after the children such as doing dishes, laundry, sweeping floors, etc. - Cooking some meals - Potential assistance in running errands such as buying groceries The ideal candidate would: - Be kind and caring for the children and enjoying playing with them and entertaining them - Help to guide good behavior while avoiding yelling at children and never hitting them - Enjoy taking children on outdoor play activities such as walks in the nearby woods, going to the playground, or going to the beach - Be able to cook basic meals without instruction - Conversational or fluent Mandarin an asset Based in our home in Dunbar, Vancouver
