Job Brief: I am seeking a fun, caring, and energetic Nanny to join our close-knit family in Summerside Edmonton. Our two curious young girls, 1 and 3, are generous with their smiles and singing. In an effort to minimize our exposure to COVID 19, we would like to have one caregiver join our cautious cohort rather than send our children back to daycare. We hope to find someone like-minded who will find value, appreciation, and respect in joining our safe and transparent approach to the pandemic. Role description: - Full-time live-out position in Summerside Edmonton - Monday to Thursday 36 to 40 hours per week (8 am to 5 pm/6 pm) - 2 kids (1 and 3. 5) for 3 days a week and 4 kids (The same kids 1 and 3. 5 with their cousins 1 and 4) for 1 day a week at a separate residence 2 minutes drive away. - Children do not have any special needs, medical requirements, or allergies. - Stay home workers will be present, must be comfortable with employers at home/sharing lunch. (however they are primary caregiver, parents will be hidden in their work zones) - Able to prepare 2 snacks and lunch (food provided for children, nanny, and working parents) Light housekeeping - Able to plan activities for children *There is some flexibility around this proposed schedule (hours, start/end times, days of work, etc) Ideal Traits, experience, and training: - Fun, energetic, and enjoys engaging with children - Enjoys outdoor time, reading, and other planned educational tasks - Covid conscious (no school-aged children, practice safe covid protocols and able to be transparent about living/cohort situation) - Fluent in spoken and written English - At least 1-year prior experience in a childcare setting (daycare center, nursery, babysitting, nanny) - Certification in infant and child first aid and CPR - Self-provided transportation to Summerside Edmonton - Small dog friendly - Non-smoker - Early Childhood Education or relevant field is optimal but not necessary - Criminal record check - Pay Negotiable - Eligible for work - References
