We have senior clients in Mississauga and Etobicoke that we require Companion Caregivers for. Companion Care has become very important as we live on in the Covid Pandemic - many seniors aren't seeing their friends / family and are suffering due to lack of socialization and companionship. What do we look for in a Companion Caregiver? We want someone mature, respectful, reliable, flexible, someone who wants to make a difference in a seniors life, someone who treats people with respect and compassion. Reliability is key - seniors love routine, and knowing that their Caregiver is going to be there when they need them is extremely important. What does a Companion Caregiver do? You spend quality time with the senior, chatting, laughing, playing a game, going for a walk. You'll help around the home with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, medication reminders, etc. You're there to assist them, to enrich their lives, to make them feel happy!
