Live-In Caregiver Key Skills Nursing Emotional Control Dependability Patient Services Expectation Memory Care Level dementia client is seeking a caregiver to support her with daily living. We are looking for a friendly, patient, cheerful, experienced caregiver to provide 1-1 caregiving services in the client's personal residence. Shift Live-In Role, full-time with flexible intraday working hrs. Experience High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year(s) professional experience in healthcare Responsibilities Able to understand the client at a fundamental & wholistic level at great depth Provides housekeeping, laundry services, grocery shopping, preparing & serving meals and snacks, and running errands. Conducts daily blood work testing for patient, medication assistance/delivery, healthcare appointment scheduling/facilitating, and record/maintain personal medical logs Supervises/assists in personal services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and ensures proper hygiene is maintained. Primary coordinator of all daily/social activities consisting of/but not limited to public transport, day programs, attendance to a place of worship, community events, daily living activities Consistent monitoring, documentation, and communication to the family of the patient's condition: current physical & mental capacity, healthcare needs, nutrition, and anticipations of future needs. Orchestrates, facilitates, and sustains Weekly Family Meetings; summarizes and documents meeting minutes Conduct and records staff meetings to ensure proper sustainability of duties, notification of changing or unusual conditions, and maintaining prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
