position for 2 children aged 1.5 and 3.5 Start date April 26, 2021 Hours: MWF 8:15-4:30, TTH 12:30-4:30 Salary: negotiable based on experience **Teaching education or experience, Montessori, or Early Childhood Education an asset. Duties and Responsibilities: General duties will include, but are not limited to: -Overseeing care of 2 children with child safety of the utmost priority -Creating and Supervising all childhood play and activities -Creation and/or implementation of engaging, age appropriate activities, crafts, and play -Light housekeeping duties such as meal prep, laundry, tidying of toys and activity supplies -Feeding children at meal and snack times -Assisting with potty training and toileting -COVID-19 related practices such as cleaning high touch surfaces, ensuring social distancing of self and children from others, hand sanitization, mask wearing in recommended settings. Requirements: Must have 2+ years of experience working directly with children First Aid/CPR Criminal record check and vulnerable sector search Own vehicle/transportation Pet friendly **The successful candidate will be expected to follow public health COVID-19 best practice recommendations; This will be discussed further during the interview process**
