We are a fun, loving family of four with two little girls. Our first is five and our youngest is two. I am home but I need a break, mentally and physically. I give the kids my all, dancing, laughing, playing, and attending to them round the clock. We believe in listening to and responding to them and love love love the books "how to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk" and also the version for little kids as these methods employ fun and quirky methods to getting kids (especially toddlers) on board and align with attachment/gentle style parenting. Our eldest is in kindergarten at a Montessori school so a little knowledge about their principals would be beneficial although not necessary. Ideally, we'd like someone a few days/week, in the afternoons/evenings. Clean criminal records check, references, and CPR/first aid, as well as experience with children in our age group, will all be necessary as well as an understanding of how you can help a busy family with day to day life.
