Hello! We are two families looking for a full-time nanny with nanny-share experience in Strathcona/East Van to start in the next 2 weeks. The kids are both turning 2 years old in the coming months and both love spending time outdoors, reading, listening to music, and climbing their mini (toddler-proofed) climbing wall. The main host family has a spacious home with an enclosed back yard, and our homes are only 2 blocks apart, so days where hours differ slightly between families are easy to manage. Duties include preparing healthy lunch and snacks for the kids and cleaning up after them. The main host family is plant-based so familiarity with plant-based diets is a plus. Both kids are currently potty-training (wearing pull-ups at home) so need support with that process. Basic qualifications desired include: -First aid, CPR -formal ECE training is appreciated (but not a requirement) -Experience working with multiple children -Someone who enjoys creative activities, both indoors and outdoors. We prefer someone with at least 2 years of experience with children around 2 years old. A driver's licence is an asset. Hours divide into 25 shared (two-kid) hours, and 15 solo-kid hours. Days are Monday-Friday during regular workday hours.
