Looking for a full-time kind and responsible senior caregiver / Companion or Registered Nurse (RN/PRN) or Nurse practitioner to help our mother, 91 which has Terminal Lung Cancer to continue to maintain her quality of life in her own home. This is a live-in or live-out position. Our mom has wonderful care during the day and we need the peace of mind to have someone stay overnight and assist in evening possible overnight coverage. Responsibilities include: personal care, light housekeeping, some meal preparations, and minor Medication assistance which consists of an inhaler and a nebulizer treatment. The Ideal candidate would be: quiet, considerate, with good reading, listening and communications skills. Our mother is a lovely person, who is in frail, but overall good mental mind, her physical health is slow and can still walk with the use of a walker assist. She enjoys watching TV on her couch and most of the times takes naps throughout the day. Important to have someone who is pleasant calm company and takes a slow caring approach in communications throughout the day. She is still aware of her independence to take care of Bathroom moments, however may need assistance in bathing's. We would like this individual if selected to shadow a family member for 2 weeks at first for introduction to the routine schedule before transferring to evenings/ overnight duties.
