Looking for a reliable sitter for an 89-year-old female with moderate dementia that we can call on occasions when we are unable to be home. We have PSW's that come in 3 times a day for an hour to assist her with dressing, toileting, and warming up meals. Your job would be very basic since she sits in a recliner in-between PSW visits. It would be helpful to have senior care experience so you could assist in toileting / transferring when PSW's are not around although, for the most part, you would just be a sitting companion. . The average day would be normally 8 hours 9-5 pm or 10-6 pm on an on-call OCCASIONAL basis only. Someone who lives close by and is able to take short notice calls would be very ideal. Please ignore hours shown. This is an OCCASIONAL WHEN NEEDED senior sitter position to occasionally help us when we can’t be home for some reason. Usually Tuesday or Thursday would be needed.
