I am a 45 yr old male quadriplegic from a swimming accident. I live independently in my own home in the Boucherie area of West Kelowna. I am easygoing, positive, and like to try to stay busy. I have a caregiver leaving to have a baby so I am looking for someone to assist me in all aspects of day to day life. Experience is not required as I am willing to train the right person. Duties include all personal care, cooking, helping with house chores, accompanying me to appointments and social activities. Basically helping me get through day-to-day life. I enjoy being physically active outside, gardening, cooking, watching tv and movies, concerts, sporting events, and always open to trying new things. I have a ceiling lift to assist with transfers. I have an accessible van that will need to be driven so a valid drivers license is a must. I have a dog too so should be comfortable around pets. A criminal record check may be requested. $21/hr to start then $23 after three months
