We are a couple living in Oakville, Ontario. We both work from home mostly and have occasional travel. We are expecting a baby in the second half of September and would like to have help at home. We also have a pet, a small 15-pound friendly dog. The main responsibilities will be helping in taking care of the baby including washing, cleaning and feeding the baby, and preparing his food and clothes. After the baby’s care, according to whatever time is left, we could use some help in the kitchen, mainly around keeping the kitchen tidy, run/empty the dishwasher, emptying trash, etc. or we can use help with some basic tasks around the house such as laundry or some light housekeeping. Good cooking skills are a big plus. We have a separate bedroom and bathroom for live-in help if they need accommodation. It's a nice and very comfortable house so the living experience will be good. Ideally, we would like to find someone we get along with well. We could start with a one or two-year contract and if the experience goes well, we intend to have help for a few years to come.
