Nanny/Housework

Active:

Hello In search of a part-time Nanny to help with our two children (ages 33 months and 9months) that can help with extra housework. Starting with a part-time position, leading into full, travelling included. Will be needed several times throughout the week to start, supervising the children while we work from home, taking the kids to the park, and giving them that extra attention they need when I am taking care of household responsibilities. Would like the position filled by May 1st and would be part-time until the beginning of August, then would be looking into a more full-time position. We travel for work (within Canada for now) and would like it if our children were present, so we do require our Nanny to be able to accommodate that, terms/pay negotiable. We are pretty flexible with our schedule so we are open to discussing which days work best for you to start, we are asking the schedule to be discussed in at least one week advance, with a mutual respect agreement. Our children are young and active, we are looking for someone who is able to keep up with them and helps encourage them to push past their limits and reach their full potential. The 33 month old is an aspiring gymnast that had set a pretty high standard for the 9 month old. They both have similar eating and sleeping structures. Meals will be prepared by me, but snack prep and clean-up (the 9 month old gets messy, self feeder) are expected. Unfortunately activities in the community are limited but on nice days they like to attend the park, on rainy days they like to wait until it clears up and jump in all the available puddles for now. When lockdown is over we certainly encourage to resume extracurricular activities such as the trampoline park, zoo/reptile/aquariums, gymnastics, swimming, etc. They have a significantly large play area with a backyard included, plenty of space and activities to keep them occupied and stimulated. We are preferring someone with a background in early childhood educational development, social work, Child Counselling, and/or Child Psychology the reasoning being our oldest is suspected to have attachment issues. It is something we are working on independently but would feel more comfortable introducing someone into our dynamic that understands the sensitivity of the situation and knows how to create proper boundaries to help her cope alongside her treatment.
