We are seeking an energetic, experienced nanny to look after our kids and provide light household support beginning in May or June 2021 (start date is flexible). We are looking for someone who can work 12pm-5pm M-F to care for our 2.5 yr old, and also provide after school care for our 7-year old. Ideally, we are looking for someone flexible enough to also be available for the occasional morning shift as needed, and full days during the odd school closure days (pro-d days, spring break, summer break, winter break). Hours for this position will range from 25-40 hours per week. We would love to find a nanny who is keen to be part of our ‘team’ for the long term! We would greatly value someone with experience as a nanny. We’re hoping to find someone with positive energy and ideas to engage and entertain our kids. As busy executives, we are also hoping to find someone who will happily help us out with some light household support tasks (ex: cleaning, laundry, meal prep, etc.). Our home is located in Fort Langley, steps away from wonderful parks, walking trails, shops, and the Fraser River. A vehicle is an asset but not a requirement; instead, we’d love it if you live close by. This is what we’re looking for in terms of experience and qualifications: - Previous experience caring for young children - Motivated to research, plan, and engage in fun activities (indoor and outdoor) - Organized and efficient with household upkeep (e.g., cleaning, laundry, meal prep) - Committed to adhering to all Public Health Orders related to COVID-19 - Non smoker - Good references - Clean criminal record - Confident speaking, reading, and writing English - Must be eligible to work in Canada (we are unable to sponsor) - ECE certificate is an asset What we are offering: - Hourly rate negotiable depending on your experience - Two weeks annual paid vacation - Health and dental benefits - Opportunity for overtime (additional hours will be planned well in advance) We look forward to hearing from you!
