I am a chronically ill young woman. I am currently looking for some in-home help because taking care of daily tasks is taking so much of my energy. I am a student and love being creative. I use mobility aids and require diapers and sometimes catheters because I have bladder retention problems. I also follow a bowel regimen because I have bowel retention problems too. I also have a rare form of glycogene storage disorder that affects my mobility and blood sugar level and have a rare form of lupus.
Things I could need help with (the needs varies depending on the week):
-groceries and errands
-on difficult days: hygiene
-cooking
-some housework like laundry and cleaning the house
-dishes
-help with medication
-help to get places
-help with catheter when needed
-help with bowel regimen
I mostly need help to make my life a little easier. I am an energetic and fun person that wishes to develop a good relationship with a long-term caretaker. Hours and salary are to discuss with the person but wouldn't exceed 10 hours a week.
I am looking for someone who is LGBTQ friendly and is comfortable taking on the different tasks I have listed. Someone who has a great energy and is empathetic.
