We are looking for a person to help with caring for our dad - must possess patience and kindness and sense of humor :) He is 87, hard of hearing, had multiple strokes which has affected his right side of body He is mobile with a walker and uses the bathroom on his own but needs assistance with various things. If he falls, he can't get himself back up He is on thickened liquids like coffee and water with thickner added He is a tough, determined, kind, quiet, religious man - values family- his wife ( our mom) passed away after 58 years of marriage . He is mentally sound and stubborn :) He would like someone to help with cleaning, cooking/meals, snacks, laundry and a daily 30 minute walk outside when weather permits, conversations, support, doctor appointments, swimming pool, outings etc We would like to have someone for the following hours during the week Monday- Saturdays 10-4pm we can discuss the availability as we currently have someone M, T, W, F but if someone is available for 6 days would be preferred Wage $16.50/hr - pd weekly Wage will be reviewed on a quarterly basis Must have vehicle We live in Cloverdale
