Employer: Private Household Position Title: Child Caregiver (NOC 4411) Location of work: North York, Ontario, Major intersection: York Mills Road and Bayview Avenue Salary: $15. 00 / hour Hours: 44 hours per week Language: English Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Job Duties: Supervise and care for children in employer`s residence; Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Tend to child's emotional well-being and support their social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings; Take children to and from programs, school and appointments; Performing other errands as required; and Occasionally travel with family; Skills and experience requirements: Minimum one (1) year of experience providing care; Reliable and has excellent communication skills; Completion of High School is required; Client focus, nurturing, attentive, flexible, and effective interpersonal skills; and Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed.
