We are currently looking for a full-time, live-in nanny to care for our two daughters E. just turned two, and M. is 3 months. We live in Kelowna, BC, and are both working professionals. My husband is an accountant and I am a dentist. We spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking and walking and going to parks with the girls. We really like to entertain and are quite social. We have both of our parents in town and spend a lot of time with family. We are looking for someone who wants to become a part of our family and stay with us until the girls are in primary school. We aren't big on screen time and don't let E. watch much TV. she really loves reading and playing with her toys. We have an indoor pool which we swim in year-round. We love spending time at our family's cabin as well. We are very active and lead very busy lives. We need someone to help with caring for the girls and maintaining our home. As for our living situation, we have a basement suite that would be perfect for a live-in caregiver. Primary duties would include caring for the children, housekeeping, walking our dog, meal preparation. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves children and is creative in ways to play with and engage them. Someone who is high-energy and enjoys spending time outdoors. We need someone who is organized and tidy. We are looking to provide a great work environment and in return expect a dedicated, hard-working nanny with whom we can have a great relationship for many years. Job includes 5-6 weeks paid vacation and opportunity for bonuses/overtime.
