Please Note: This is NOT a CASH-ONLY position. We are looking to hire 2-4 friendly and professional PSWs who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or are willing to be vaccinated) to care for our elderly mother. The day shift is full-time (9:00am-7:00pm) seven days a week. The night shift is part-time (9:00pm-1:30am) seven days a week. Our ideal PSWS would have good listening and communication skills and a positive attitude when helping our mother, who has some limited mobility challenges. She is mentally sharp and needs assistance doing light physio exercises and transferring in and out of her bed, chair, mobile commode, and toilet to use the washroom. Other duties include providing warm companionship, help with showering and hygiene care, and light housekeeping (e.g. washing/folding/putting away her laundry, keeping her bathroom and main living area clean and tidy). Please note that we would not expect our night or day PSW to work 7 days/nights a week, which is why we are looking to hire more than one PSW for the day shift and the night shift.
