SPICE’d Dayhome is in need of a childcare provider that has a clear driving abstract to work 3-8 hours per day. Candidate must be available to work split shifts of 6 hours, early mornings by 7AM, and closing shift until 6PM. Monday to Friday. Candidate must also be comfortable driving children to and from school at peak hours, and then assisting within the facility with activities, lunch, etc. The childcare provider should be loving, fun, and an outgoing professional individual who has: - A clear police and vulnerable sector check (Dated in the last 6 months) - First aid & CPR Certificate - A minimum of Child Development Assistance (Level 1) Certificate (or equivalent) - 2 years Experience working with children - Clear Driving Abstract - Class 5 license (GDL or non) Candidate must be able to meet the following requirements below: - Speak proficient English - work independently with up to 6 children (between 1-12 years old) - multitask - Prepare meals/ Feeding - Prepare Activities - Change diapers - keep a clean, tidy and organized environment - Keep the children’s space clean and tidy - wash toys and children’s dishes - prepare children for nap time Wage is $15/hour. No top-up included. Driving allowance provided. Amount of work hours can range from 3 hours- 40 hours per week. Depending on the company needs. 10AM-6PM shift needed.
